How To Import a New Macro - Cloud Clients

To Import a MACRO template in CoAction follow these steps:

Step 1) The Macro File you want to import must be on your desktop or a file on your computer

Step 2) Open any completed or checked in patient appointment to the Doctor's Dashboard (where you type your Soap Notes)

Step 3) In the Doctor's Dashboard click on the GREEN CIRCLE in the bottom left of the Macro screen

Step 4) Then select "Import Template from File" Select the template from its saved location on your desktop and select Open.

5) FOR CLOUD CLIENTS - you will need to drill down to Your Local C drive:

  • IF you see a Security pop up - Select Permit All Access

  • click on YOUR LOCAL C: on (your computer name) 

  • Then drill down to your desktop or wherever the file is located by clicking the following: Users - Your Name - Desktop or whatever folder you have stored your macro
  • Highlight the macro > click open and it will replace the macro on your screen
