 As we continue to update VitaLogics, VitaLogics will not run effectively and may not run at all on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and older operating systems .

Announcement for Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP Users

 Microsoft ended its extended support to Windows Server 2003 on July 14, 2015

and as we mentioned before, Microsoft has already ended support to Windows XP as of April 2014.

In a continued effort to stay on the cutting edge of technology and ensure your VitaLogics system is operating on the most ideal platform, Vitalogics will follow Microsoft's lead in ending support for Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP.

 

What Does This Mean For You?

 You will not be able to log into VitaLogics using Windows Server 2003, Windows XP or older operating systems.

It is urgent that customers migrate to a modern operating system such as Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.

 

Why is VitaLogics No Longer Supporting Windows XP

and Windows Server 2003?

Windows XP is 13 years old and Windows Server 2003 is 12 yrs old.

Just as many of us replace older cell phones and older cars, we also must update our computers. VitaLogics wants to continue to offer our customers the latest in Windows technologies and we have found that new Windows technologies will no longer work on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 or older operating systems.

What Will I Have To Do To Upgrade My Operating System?

FOR SERVER CUSTOMERS:

If you are replacing your VitaLogics Server - a server transfer is required and you must notify support@vitalogics.com to schedule a server transfer ASAP.

If you are replacing a Client computer (non-server), contact VitaLogics support, using the VitaLogics Support portal or support@vitalogics.com to have one of our support agents re-install VitaLogics.

  

 

FOR CLOUD CUSTOMERS:

As no physical transfer is needed for Cloud users, you will only need to re-install the Citrix Receiver to your new computer.

All credentials to log into Citrix and VitaLogics will remain the same.
