Getting Error - Class not registered {Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)}

This error can be caused by a couple of different actions. Either (see#1) trying to create a document in a patient file OR trying to Add new Provider or edit provider (see#2)

 

1) Cannot Create a Document in Patient File 

When you are in a patient file and you go to the Documents tab to create a new document

IF you get this Error:

Class not registered {Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)} 

 

OR

2) Trying to Add new Provider or edit provider - getting same error

  • When you are in Admin- Providers - edit or Add Provider and get this error

The fix is to REPAIR the VitaLogics Program

do the following:

  1. Go to Control Panel
  2. Go to Programs 
  3. Find the VitaLogics Program - highlight it
  4. Right Click on the VitaLogics Program
  5. Select Repair  
  6. Once completed, close the Programs 
  7. Open VitaLogics and make sure it works
  8. If not, place a ticket to escalate to a programmer
