If the swiper is NOT reading any info when you swipe, Forte tech support has these suggestions.
1) If you are using Internet Explorer, please try Google Chrome or Firefox to see if the swiper works, sometimes there can be issues with IE.
2) Check if your computer recognizes the device. unplug USB, plug it back in and see if it tries to reload the driver
3) if it does not recognize driver, try another usb port
4) if you have another computer, plug in credit card swiper to a different computer to see if the issue is resolved
5) if computer does recognize the driver, when you swipe do you get any error?
