New update is on it's way and will include.. New ICD-10 Codes, Add a Cellphone Carrier, Removing previously saved Credit Cards and more!  

IMPORTANT REMINDER... 
As a reminder, we send updates out by groups and you will be notified via email the day before your software is updated.
 
New ICD-10 codes have been Added to VitaLogics!
 
As of October 1, 2016 new ICD-10 codes will be in use through September 2017. In the update we have added thousands of new ICD-10 codes to the ICD code VitaLogics library. Once you know the codes you want to add or remove just find it in the library and drag and drop to your button. See below if you need help on how to do this. You can find a list of the codes we have added to the VitaLogics library in the Support Center > VitaLogics EMR > ICD-10 Information. Take a LOOK HERE. 
We have also added a filter so you can just select ICD-10's or ICD-9's in the library. The filter is found in Admin > ICD-10 on the header named Ty (Type)
select the down arrow and select either 9 or 10s to show in the library or keep it at ALL.

With this update you are able to inactivate stored patient credit cards?
If you use Heartland or Forte as your credit card merchant, you can now have the ability to remove the credit card number from the list of available options.

The VitaLogics Support Portal Chat Window     Has a New Look!

The VitaLogicsSupport Portal Chat Window will look a little different soon so we wanted to give you a heads up. Biggest difference will be to end the chat you will click on Options on the bottom of the chat.

Q- How do I Rebill charges after I have corrected mistakes?
A- Once you have made all necessaray changes to VitaLogics. Please CLICK HERE for instructions on how to Rebill patients Dates of service.
 
Q- In Box 14, the drop down does not have Medicare Qualifier 454, what do I do?
A- Box 14 will allow you to type in any qualifier number in that box and that qualifier will remain from visit to visit. How to do this? Go to patients visit screen - Go to Edit ICD - find Box 14 - on the right is the Qualifier box - type in the number - when done - check out. Instructions are also in the Support Center CLICK HERE
 
Q- Looking for missing write off, line item note or insurance payment that is attached to a charge, but can't find the Plus sign to expand it? 
A- To find your missing Plus + sign that hides your additional info, please CLICK HERE for details.
 
Q-I am getting Box 21 Diagnosis Pointer error on my scrubbing report and it won't go away!
A- Make sure your Payer has been changed to print ICD-10's. Go to Admin - Payers - select a payer - Edit - Printing Options - halfway down the page in the middle (Box 21), select option 10 to print ICD-10's and click on Save.
 
Q- I keep getting a pop up that states a patient appointment has been locked. How do I clear it?
A- Patient appointments can be locked by VitaLogics if more then one user tries to access the appointment at the same time. VitaLogics does this to protect patient data. When no other user is accessing the appointment, you can unlock the appointment. CLICK HERE. for instructions. 
 
Q. I am told that there is a library of Training Videos/Articles that I can utilize. How do I see them?
A- Under the Administration area of VitaLogics, you will find a button that says Support Center. If you click on that button and then click on VitaLogics EMR, you will be directed to our Training Video/Article Library. You can look under a catagory to find specific ones or you can utilize the Search box at the top of the screen, type in a key word and the system will generate any Video and/or Article that correlates with the key word entered.

Heartland is another option when choosing a merchant that will automatically post in VitaLogics.

Do you have a cellphone carrier for patient email/text reminders that is not on the list? 
We now offer the ability for you to ADD an SMS Carrier to VitaLogics. If your patient would like to receive email/text reminders but, their carrier is not on our current list, click on this button below for the easy instructions >>>>                            
Make a copy of your SOAP NOTES Macro template
 You work hard on customizing those macros but if someone deletes a button by mistake, YIKES! The quickest way to get them back is if you made a copy and keep it on your computer or on a flash drive for safe keeping.
